Install the reader
Run the downloaded installer, then open Gheed’s Exchange Beta from your Start menu. Opening the app does not start the reader.
Connect your account
Sign in or create an account. In the app, click Connect this PC, approve its code on the website, then click Check connection.
Play, pick up, identify
Enter an offline game. Click Start reader, confirm OFFLINE and automatic submissions, then pick up and identify new items.
Your finds appear on the website
The reader observes a new pickup. After you identify it, supported item details are sent automatically. Eligible items can earn test G$. Check Recent pickups in the app or your Collection for the result.
Existing inventory, vendor purchases and picking up the same owned item again do not earn new rewards. Some uncertain or unsupported items may receive no credit. Look for Credited to confirm a reward.
G$ and test GBTC have no cash value. All signed-in accounts can earn test rewards from eligible new pickups. Account access may be paused by an administrator.
A few things to know
What do I need?
Windows 10/11 (64-bit), Diablo II: Resurrected build 3.3.93847, an internet connection and a website account. This is an unsigned early beta. Separate clean-PC testing is still pending.
Do I need screenshots or manual item reviews?
No. The beta sends eligible item readings automatically after you start and confirm submissions. Screenshots and private notes stay on your PC and are not uploaded.
Can I see pickups while playing?
Click Open pickup overlay in the app. It shows pickup and reward notifications. Use windowed or borderless mode on your primary display.
How do I stop, update or uninstall?
Click Stop reader before leaving offline play. Use Exit app before an update or uninstall. Closing every panel tab also shuts down the beta and its overlay after the disconnect grace period, usually about 15 seconds.
Install updates in the same folder to retain your data. Uninstall preserves it; deleting the folder removes your saved connection, captures and logs.
Something isn’t working?
Check your connection and the message in Recent pickups. This beta can miss drops, especially across area changes. Report a problem with your app version and what happened. Never post account codes, credentials or your full results folder.
